The Why Behind

By December 2023, all of my corporate clients started opting out of DEI services, which was my full income by that time. I had run organizations, started programming, consulted adjacent to arts nonprofits and creative agencies, but the Universe was stripping everything away.

In June 2024, I made the conscious decision that I would not return to corporate and nonprofit world for the time being. By October 2024, I decided to try revisiting my dream and passion of music, and by October 2025, I fully decided that I was a full-time musician. And during this time I was putting a lot of my efforts in ‘Ukulele with Mele—it just sort of all happened without trying!

However, during this time, I realized that the ecosystem of bartering was becoming more popular in my friend circles. And indeed, I have many, many skills I’ve acquired over the years being a woman of color who has had no other choice than to. Below are some of the organizations I have worked with and some of the offerings I have. If any of them speak to you, let’s dive a bit deeper in seeing which you can agree would be equitable for your service offering.

Who I Am

I care about the earth and my cultures. In my thirties, I was blessed as a shaman in the Philippines. I don’t see my work as a shaman any separate from who I am in all of the spaces I occupy. Furthermore, I bring the energy necessary in those moments when we are working alongside one another.
