A Methodology rooted in Aloha.

Mele didn’t always have educators or music models who were looking out for her best interest. Interestingly enough, they were usually looking out for their own or not involved enough to notice what she needed. Because of this, Mele built her own method over the years. The ʻUkulele Mele Methodology™ is built on the following values.

You can experience it yourself by watching any of her YouTube videos, joining her tiered membership (beginning August 2026), or purchase her book (coming 2027!).

A tall tree with prominent roots spreading across the forest floor, surrounded by lush green foliage.

Indigenization

A black pug dog with large, expressive eyes wearing a light denim jacket with a gold zipper.

Differentiation

The photo shows a section of asphalt pavement with scattered dry leaves and small twigs. The words 'Walk' and 'Sign' are written in white chalk on the pavement.

Authenticity

Colorful, tangled string-like structures with a grainy texture in purple, pink, orange, and yellow on a light gray background.
